Analytics, with your permission

We use PostHog, hosted in the EU (Frankfurt), to see how people use the site: which pages they visit, what they click, which plates they configure and put in the basket, and whether a visit ends in a purchase. It helps us improve the site. Nothing is sold or shared, and there is no advertising, social widget or other tracker. Typefaces are served from this domain.

If you accept cookies, PostHog stores an identifier on your device so a later visit is recognised, and may record your visit as a replay of what happened on the screen, with anything typed hidden. If you then buy, that identifier is passed along with your order so we can see which visit led to it.

If you don’t, or before you choose, nothing is stored on your device: visits are only counted anonymously, using a privacy-preserving code computed on PostHog’s servers, and no replay is recorded. You can change your choice any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of each page.

The chat

When you write to us in the chat, we store your messages, the page you wrote from (and the plate, if it was about one), your country as your connection reports it, and the campaign tag or website you arrived from, if any. It is kept in a database in the EU (Frankfurt, run by Neon) and read only by us. There is no account and we don’t ask for your name or email.

Your browser keeps a random code for the conversation in its local storage, so you can come back to it and see our reply. Clearing your browser’s site data ends it on your side. To have a conversation deleted, just say so in the chat.

Your basket

What you add to your basket is kept in this browser’s local storage, on your device, and nowhere else. It is sent to us only when you press “Check out” — and then only which files you chose, never a price.

If you arrived through a link with a campaign tag in it (such as?ref=reddit-ch), or from another website, that tag and the name of that website (for example “reddit.com”, never the page or anything about you) are kept the same way for 30 days and passed along with your order, so we can tell what led to a sale. They identify the post or site, not you.

Buying

Checkout happens on Stripe’s own pages, under their terms and privacy policy, as our payment processor. Stripe collects your card details, email address and billing country (and address, where tax rules require it); we never see your card. From Stripe we receive your name, email address, country and what you bought, which we keep for as long as tax law requires us to keep records of a sale — ten years in Switzerland.

We use your email address to send you one email: the link to your files. That email is sent through Resend, our email provider. We do not add you to a mailing list.

The files themselves are stored with Cloudflare R2. When you download one, Cloudflare records the request (IP address, time, file) as an ordinary part of serving it.

Email you send us

If you email us, we keep that email so we can reply, and for as long as the exchange is still going somewhere. We do not add you to a mailing list. Ask us to delete the correspondence and we will.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which records standard server access logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp, user agent) as an unavoidable part of serving a request. Those logs are retained by the host on their own schedule and are not used by us for profiling or combined with anything else.

Your rights

Under Swiss and EU data protection law you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted. Since the only thing we are likely to hold is an email thread you started, this is usually a one-line request. Write to hello@redmark.world.

Changes

If the site gains a form, a guide, a shop or anything else that stores or transmits data, this page changes before that ships — not after.
