Privacy

Short, because the site genuinely does very little.

No accounts, no cookies, no analytics

This site does not set cookies, does not run analytics, and does not embed third-party scripts, trackers, social widgets or advertising. Typefaces are served from this domain rather than from a font provider, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you did. Browsing it sends nothing anywhere — with one exception, below.

The enquiry form does not submit anywhere

The form on the contact page composes a message and hands it to your own email application. Nothing you type is transmitted to this site or stored on it. The message becomes an ordinary email when — and only when — you send it yourself, and you keep the copy in your sent folder.

The one exception: the Explore page

Everything above stops being true on /explore, and only there. When you send a message to the guide, that message, the rest of that conversation, and the contents of your list are sent to our server and on to Anthropic’s API, which is what produces the answer. That is the only place on this site where anything you type leaves your browser, and it happens only when you press the button.

We do not store those conversations: the server holds the exchange only for as long as it takes to answer, and keeps no copy. Anthropic processes it under their own terms as our processor. Your list itself stays in your browser either way — sending it to us is a separate, deliberate act on the list page.

Your IP address is used in memory to rate-limit that endpoint so it cannot be run up by a script. It is not written anywhere.

Please do not type anything into the guide that you would mind a third party processing. It is there to talk about maps.

Your list

The puzzles and ideas you collect are kept in this browser’s local storage, on your device. We cannot see it. Clearing your browser data clears it, and the list page has a button that does the same.

Email you send us

If you email us, we keep that email so we can reply and, if it turns into an order, so we can fulfil it. We do not add you to a mailing list. Ask us to delete the correspondence and we will.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which records standard server access logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp, user agent) as an unavoidable part of serving a request. Those logs are retained by the host on their own schedule and are not used by us for profiling or combined with anything else.

Your rights

Under Swiss and EU data protection law you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted. Since the only thing we are likely to hold is an email thread you started, this is usually a one-line request. Write to hello@redmark.world.

Changes

If the site gains a real enquiry backend, a shop or anything that stores data, this page changes before that ships — not after.
